- Now, Download E-1550 Huawei modem firmware and Install Huawei firmware E-1550 For idea India (Download from here ).
- Then Download Mobile Partner’s 11.302.09.01.539 Voice USSD and install it. Click here to download Mobile Partner’s 11.302.09.01.539
- Then download Video MMS Dashboard. Click here to Download it.
- You are going to prompt for Huawei unlock/flash unlock code. please download Huawei E-1550 Netsetter Unlocker.Click here to Download it From Here.
- Then Put You IMEI number in IMEI box and Find Flash code
- Then put it on Flash code box and You are done with resetting your Idea netsetter modem E1550.

Please re-flash your device with upgraded firmware.Resolve your issue
After upgrading your device with newly Downloaded E-1550 Huawei modem firmware (Mention in step-2)
So, then after it will prompt for password to unlock. You have to put device’s flash code as password.
So, then only your device start working.

you have to create a new profile for BSNL sim. go to options>profile manager >new.

I have just bought the Idea Net Setter one month ago. They have given an intro offer of 2 GB data access on 3G at Rs. 106. And the next month the plan for the 2G was Rs. 300 for 5 GB.
Now my usage is 2-2.5 GB per month. So I have decided to Unlock this device. I have tried through my friend’s method but didn’t get success. idea net setter e-1550 is totally waistage of money.it is far better to give Rs-1750/ to a bagger rather than to purchage it because there is no speed & no time to cut & connect to internet.i had been placed my idea usb under the wheel of a train & got some satisfaction.

in the update wizard i face some problem in the updating process the error like the wireless terminal you are inserted is not e155x so update cannot work on!!!!

Recently i had buy a idea netsetter modem E1550,
modem version : 11.609.20.02.356
I had tried almost all tricks to unlock, But it failed. The new modem comes with customized firmware (as same as E1732)so we can not unlock it . I hope you have solve this prolem .

I got already unlocked Airtel Huawei e1731 3g modem now i am use tata docomo but i have query i want to update airtel connection manager frimware
there is any chances of my unlocked modem get locked after upgradation of firmware.i have already download upgrade firmware setup from Airtel site.
This article is very helpfull…dear friends..if anyone fall in trubble,he does’nt work on this software properly.In the case of 2g yellow netsetter,did not a firmware changing.Only run “”Huawei_Unlocker” and apply imei.then we can find a 8 digit code. then a sim card(not idea) insert on the 2g(yellow)netsetter and open the software idea.(you don’t insert white netsetter..your sim will lock and unlock using puk code from customer care!!!!)then we can find a alert message ënter unlock code.apply 8 digi no and ok.your net setter is unlocked.it is properly work with all network.idea,BSNL,tatadocomo,airtel,aircel,vodafone..etc
we create a profile for each connection..on netsetter software.
open software->Tools->Options->Profile Managment->new(button)
add profile name as BSNL and APN apply static option and APN as bsnlnet
Access Number as *99#.
Insert a BSNL sim on netsetter And Enjoy The Freedom….Getlost idea!!!!

Hey… Hw i come to knw that my netsetter is unlocked or not…actualy i give it someone for unlock…so after it i insert airtel sim in it…….bt it can’t registerd…i tried manualy bt nt possible……. Help if anyone get any clue related to it….

As per your guideline for unlock of lst week I unlock my idea e1550 nettsetter, after it I use bsnl & docomo sim in it but there r error as under
Error 619:A Connection to the remote computer could not be established, so the port used for this connection was closed.

No need to do all things other than downloading Unlocking software.
Just insert any other sim in modem. It asks for unlock code.Copy from software and paste in popup box.Click ok.Now your modem is unlocked!!
